TRANSPORTATION FROM LARNACA AIRPORT
Just turn left as soon as you're out of the luggage pick-up area, walk through the door to the outside and walk straight about 25 meters. That's the airport bus terminal.
The Limassol Airport Express runs 24 hours a day 365 days a year. (Unfortunately, their Limassol stop is an 8-10 Euro taxi ride from the Luxor.) Their schedule is available on www.airportshuttlebus.eu
The Inter City (Green) buses - unfortunately - do not have a bus parking space at the airport. They DO, however stop in the bus area 5 - 10 minutes before their departure times. (You'll recognize them easily - small green buses!)
Departures from the airport are: 7:40, 9:40, 12:40 and 12:40. (No service on Sundays, and possibly not on holidays either.)
On the plus side - isn't there alway one! - they stop very close to the Luxor. (Just ask for the pedestrian street Agiou Andreou.)

TAXI SERVICES
Rural taxis are to be found at taxi stands only. In Cyprus cities both hotel and private taxi services are available. You can find them at taxi parkings, bus stations, in front of big hotels, airports or other frequent locations. The charges are reasonable and depend on the tariff periods – the fare is more expensive after 20.00/22.00.
Urban taxis are provided with taximeters and charging commences upon the entrance of a passenger. Although all taxi drivers are obliged to use a taximeter, you can encounter a taxi that will charge you their fixed price, mainly in North Cyprus. It is advisable to agree upon the fare with the driver before setting off. The system of sharing a taxi with another passenger travelling to the same destination (called Dolmus) also operates widely in North Cyprus. This is a 24 hours service of urban taxis provided in all towns. Taxis can be booked by phone or be hired from their locations. Remember that if you need to take a taxi late at night or early in the morning, it is better to arrange a taxi by calling the company in advance. Taxis operate at Larnaca airport. There is often a queue of them waiting outside and one can be easily picked up. Taxis are also widely available at Paphos airport.
There are numerous taxis in Limassol and many private taxi companies. It is strongly advised to confirm fares before taking a private taxi. Rates can increase by up to 20% between the hours of 20:30 and 06:00.
This is a 24hours service provided in Agia Napa. Taxis can be booked by phone or be hired on the street. Urban taxis are obligatory provided with taxi meters and charging commences upon the entrance of a passenger in the taxi.
